CEO, Rubicon

Hi my name is Robert Nordstrom and I am the CEO for Rubicon. I have been in this role since May 2016.

My family has lived in Te Tai Tokerau, predominantly in the Kaipara area since 1988.

I have a passion for working with youth and I have coached Basketball at Whangarei Boys High School for the last 5 years.

My team won the Northland Secondary schools championship in 2016, the secondary school competition in 2016, placed 8th out of 25 teams a Regional secondary school champs for zone 1 in 2016, which is from Counties Manukau North, and came second in the Whangarei men’s premier grade for 2016.

My goal is to ensure that every young person has the opportunity to achieve their potential by completing mainstream education, and completing their high school years as positive role models for others to aspire to be.

Opportunity only knocks once, that opportunity has to be grasped with both hands and taken to the next level with inspirational, motivational and inspired leadership.

Office Manager

My previous roles have included working in communication centres, large corporate companies, a  manufacturing site and for a logistics company.

My family and I moved from Auckland 6 years ago for a change of lifestyle and I have been fortunate enough to have worked for Rubicon all this time.

I thoroughly enjoy my role as Office Manager as it is, while challenging at times,  it is also extremely rewarding being part of a dedicated team.
